AROHA

Aroha wears a nice big dress with hearts on it, she has some friends that visit her in her castle. Her friends are kindness, helpful, friendly and joy and she loves to play with them. Aroha is a nice person. She help's her friends if they get hurt. She flies to freedom when her mum keeps her locked up because her mum is Arohas enemies slave. But she gets out because she flies with her angel wings.

The incredible theme park

First the super rollercoaster can go as fast as a racing car and it is as tall as the Sky Tower. It makes you scream. Next the amazing bumper boat. But on this ride you need to swim. Because you might fall off but this is the scary part! The Jurassic water slide! There are strange sounds all around and I saw a big T-Rex with big giant teeth. You need to go fast, the T-Rex has big bloody teeth as big as a banana. For some refreshment you can have some soda and some sweet and silky candy floss. Yum yum! That  is the incredible theme park.

Winter comes in your room when you are a-sleep she laves a trail of ice she wears a frozen dress make out of ice and her hat is made out of snowflakes her eyes opened wide at the Cold War she eat frozen meat and drinks frozen water she live in a ice cube her friends autumn ice and snow come to her house everyday she will make summer sun and smock her slaves.

Room 10

The worlds biggest park

Here I am going to a secret, a secret that hasn't been told. It is the world's  biggest park and there's a fantastic roller coaster that goes crackle crackle. It goes to Mars and that is why at the start it goes crackle crackle. At the end it goes tap tap that is why it goes crackle, tap with a roller coaster. What is the secret? Is it the park? Yes folks it is time to go back to New Zealand yay!

How the orb-web spider made a web?

An orb-web spider uses silk and thread to make a web. First the spider lets out a middle amount of web and the spider lets the wind carry the web to a another branch and the web sticks to the branch next the spider makes a Y shape forming the main thread and the middle of the Y shape becomes the centre of the web. Now the spider makes a long thread in a circle now it looks a little like a web next the spider lets out dry thread in a spiral shape now the spider lays sticky thread to finish an orb-web spider takes about an hour to build its web.

Now you know how a orb-web spider makes a web.

Whats hot in Room 10

This week we need to get our projects finished during 'Techie Time' there are Puppet Pals or Kid Pix movies, coming to our blog soon so keep an eye out. We are continuing to learn about Aroha we know that Aroha is being respectful, showing love and nice to each other.
Metaphor poems are hot HOT HOT, some are posted on our blog ask us how to write one. We have also done procedure writing this term so we can show the steps of how to do something.
We are starting cross country training on Mondays, wednesdays and Fridays. Mrs M is even going to run!!!!
Next week is parent conferences so don't forget. Also its swimsafe next term at Waterworld.

Confidence

Confidence wears bright rainbow-coloured clothes. He lives in a silky blue waterfall. He has dark brown hair. His eyes are blue like the waterfall he lives in. His friends are happiness, bravery, silly, crazy, friendly, joy fullness, and cheerfulness. His enemies are rage, sadness, jealousy, lonely, scared, threatened, grumpy, and gloomy. When confidence comes you're never afraid!

Sadness

Sadness wears a white coat covered in tears and some red shorts. He lives in a dark and stinky hole at      The edge of town. No one ever goes near him because his hole is too stinky!  But he never goes to town because they are too mean to him. Only his friends come to visit him which are loneliness and anger. If he ever goes to town he will be as quiet as a mouse.
